If your genre is so weak that it can be "ruined" by one band or one TV sponsor, channel, whatever the hell MTV is nowadays, then it must not be a good genre. You need to get over yourself and stop this pretentious, high-and-mighty bullshit. It wasn't so bad at first, but to sign up for a DA just to attack people you disagree with is completely disgusting.
